Services

Services tab list and allow to connect 3rd party services(some integrations require an in-app purchase).

Connect is done by clicking a row that has grey icon & CONNECT label. This will bring up a popup asking you to authorize Cobook to use this 3rd party service on your behalf. Cobook does not save your username/password, just your authorized access token that you can revoke from that 3rd parties webpage at any time.

To disconnect a service just click on a connected row. Connected services are on top, have color icon and show the username/display name of the connected user.

Currently the only writable source that can be configured via Services is Google Contacts integration. Once connected, this source is no different than any of the address book account, but the sync is done by Cobook directly to Google Contacts.

Twitter and Google Contacts integrations can be simultaneously connected to multiple accounts.

Store

Store tab allows to extend Cobook functionality using in-app purchases. All in-app purchases use the Mac App Store to process and restore bought extension packs.

To buy an extension pack:

  • Click on the purchase row
  • After a few seconds, this will bring up Mac App Store authentication dialog
  • If the authentication succeeds, purchase confirmation alert with the name & price will be shown
  • Once the purchase is confirmed it will be shown with a green check in Store and immediately available in the Services tab.

If you have bought any of the extension packs on another Mac that you use the same Apple Id with, you can restore them by clicking Restore Purchases and logging in Mac App Store.

In-app purchases on OSX and iOS are separate, they cannot be transferred.
